Perfectly average movie. Bale and Hardy were good, and the story was
interesting, but nothing really blew me away. At least I can say I saw
Batman on opening day without getting shot.

3:10 to Yuma
Crowe and Bale both did an excellent job here. It drags a little toward the middle-end, but the ending is fairly satisfying.
Terminator Salvation
Christian Bale..first Batman, now John Connor. What's next, fucking Mad
Max? The movie may have been more interesting if the "big reveal" hadn't
been revealed in the trailer, but that's alright; I guess they had to
give us some reason to go see it other than "the machines try to kill
John again." It was appropriately loud and action-packed, and the
casting was pretty good. I enjoyed it, although it would've been nice to
know more about Marcus' past, and the ending was slightly detrimental
and completely unnecessary.
The Dark Knight
The entire movie is basically an exhibition of Heath Ledger's awesome
portrayal of the Joker, which makes it better than Batman Begins. I knew
it was him the whole time, obviously, but I didn't recognize him under
the make-up until about halfway through the movie. I loved everything
they did with his character aesthetically; hair, make-up, clothing, all
of it. Christian Bale does a good job too, but Bruce/Batman is a minor
player compared to the Joker.
Reign of Fire
Bale and McConaughey are both pretty awesome in this. I don't see why everyone says it's terrible.
2013 edit: Props to McConaughey for keeping that name when he went into film. Geez.
