Blind Fury

Based on the cover of the VHS, I was pretty sure this was going to be just about the worst movie I'd ever seen. It was dopey, but it's fun if you don't take it seriously, and I liked it.

The Girl Who Leapt Through Time

A refreshing movie after the last two. It really captures the simple, beautiful things. The story's nothing spectacular, but it's not hard to watch. I didn't like the ending, though.

Wicked City

Unbeliveably visually unappealing. Ugh. How am I supposed to like an anime that completely lacks attractive characters? The twist at the end was interesting, although partially predictable, but I didn't enjoy the animation style at all.

Twilight of the Dark Master

This went up 127% in popularity in the last week on IMDb. Possibly because I just searched for it. It was fairly fast-paced and slightly poignant; felt a little empty because of the pacing, though.

The Craft

I wanted to see this for a couple years after it came out, and then I forgot about it. It was pretty much what I was expecting (now, not then). It was decent enough. Fairuza Balk was not, and apparently still is not, pretty at all..but her eyes really are turqoise.

Terminator Salvation

Christian Bale..first Batman, now John Connor. What's next, fucking Mad Max? The movie may have been more interesting if the "big reveal" hadn't been revealed in the trailer, but that's alright; I guess they had to give us some reason to go see it other than "the machines try to kill John again." It was appropriately loud and action-packed, and the casting was pretty good. I enjoyed it, although it would've been nice to know more about Marcus' past, and the ending was slightly detrimental and completely unnecessary.

The Promotion

Even with a bad haircut, Stifler wasn't believable in this role. Lili Taylor speaking in a Canadian Scottish accent made the movie. I wanted it to be more about working at a grocery store than it was. It did a good job keeping both guys pretty equal at all times, though; I liked that I never felt like either one of them was the underdog.
